Description |
This display is very rare. As you can see in the photograph it is a rough handmade prototype mock-up of a Revenge of the Jedi transition piece into the Power of the Force line. The Bell Hanger Store Display features the words "Collect all 12" referring to the rare Jedi display with 12 figures pictured on the bell including the rare unproduced Sarlacc Pit figure. Bell is C10 but has considerable wear on the outside edges. There are a few creases on it as well but it's hard to find so it's still c10. This is a one of a kind and the best one in existence. It was discovered in the north Philadelphia home of a man who had guests tonight who's wife's uncle once worked for Kenner. This piece has nothing to do with that person.
Lending not only their image but their expertise and credibility in the field of prototype discovery validation is Chris Georgoulias. Unfortunately he is not included as part of the auction. Because of the sensitivity surrounding the finding of this piece, Chris refuses to speak openly about the piece's authenticity.

Note: possibly as a result of how the display was stored, it has the distinct smell of both magic marker and and gluestick but these are purely coincidental. Any resenblance to the Return of the Jedi storybook is purely coincidental. The images used were part of the 1982 Kenner Repro Art Book which may explain their appearance in both pieces.
Note2: All bids and strongarm tactics from display monger Rob Johnson will not be tolerated. Other display collectors must be given a chance.
